Margot is so excited to take pictures like her Daddy and Mommy that she really doesn’t care which direction the camera faces. And who doesn’t want macro closeups of one’s own eyeball, really?// Gina at The Shabby Creek Cottage got 25 amazing bloggers to show home tours of their own houses. It makes me want to quit my day job and just finally design my whole house. But then I would have no money. I need to think on this plan. My favorites so far are Kristin’s from The Hunted Interior, The Nester’s from The Nesting Place and Michael’s from Inspired by Charm.
// This home by Living Pink Studio is probably far too girly for my husband to maintain his manhood, but it sure is spunky. If you know me, I’m not girly, but there is a way to do girly and this is it.
// I dream of having a loft where I can work and gather inspiration. Dina’s latest project for her photographer friend makes me want to go to sleep and dream of it some more…
// Both of my mothers are painting. I so appreciate getting recommendations for tried and true paint colors. I hope this helps, mommies!
// Photo transfers on wood. Excellent wall art idea for antique family photos.
// This post shows the trend of “Into the Wild” that was a heavy inspiration for Oliver’s nursery!
// Ever wanted to just buy a blogger’s house already finished and pretty? Here’s your chance! Marian of Miss Mustard Seed blog is selling her house in Pennsylvania. Just purchase and put a bow on it. Done and done.
// Alan and I have our 8th anniversary approaching. So naturally, we’re already talking about our 10-year vacation! (‘Cause with a newborn and toddler, it isn’t happening THIS year!) All I know is Amalfi should be part of it!
// If you love reclaimed barn wood, check out this awesome home tour by Eric Olsen Design.
// My good friend Angela of The Painted House has been neck-deep in redoing their new home. I’m practically salivating every time she shows the slightest update. I admit, I’m hesitant to visit. I might cry. And that’s just embarrassing.
// You know that girl I mentioned earlier who doesn’t work and has a loft and a totally finished home? This is what her hair looks like. I don’t think I could do it in my current “mom-who-works-for-an-insurance-company” life. What do you think?
// We celebrated International Donut Day at Daylight Donuts. Their Snickers donut is my favorite. But you’re only allowed one per year if you value your life. GO EAT A DONUT!
