Local Slice – Chattanooga Market

Last weekend we celebrated the sun at the Chattanooga Market. It was Beast Feast and the whole city seemed to show up for the BBQ! There was music, food, frozen lemonade and popsicles.

But first, we were instructed to pick up a balloon animal. And we do as we are instructed.Chattanooga Market |westofgrey.com

These modern birdhouses by ChurpModern Birdhomes were super awesome. So I’m giving them a shoutout. They would make great wall art inside, even.

One lesson I have learned in preparing to start blogging is from Holly Becker at decor8blog.

She said not to be discouraged if you don’t have the life that you think is interesting enough to blog. But use your blog as an excuse to start living the life you want to blog.

We’re excited to start exploring Chattanooga as a family and go places that are inspiring and memorable rather than familiar and safe. Join us in your own hometown. Live a more inspired life.

I really appreciate your quote from Holly Becker — “She said not to be discouraged if you don’t have the life that you think is interesting enough to blog. But use your blog as an excuse to start living the life you want to blog.” This is something I need to put into action for myself. I’m glad to see your family taking that challenge. I look forward to following you around town (so to speak) as I follow your blog.ReplyCancel
